We regret to announce the passing of Mr. Albert Reed, Jr. 

Mr. Reed passed away on Saturday, November 11, 2023 at his home. 

The family will receive friends at the home of his brother, Mr. Jerome Reed, 118 General Road, Marion, SC. 

Arrangements will be announced by Davis Funeral Home, LLC of Hartsville, SC.

Albert Reed, Jr. was born to the late Albert Reed, Sr. and Sarah Margaret Reed on November 29,1962 and departed this earthly life on Saturday November 11, 2023 at his home.

Albert as he was affectionately called “Prince Albert” attended Marion High graduated with his class of 1982. He worked at Road Rescue until his health failed. 

Albert was preceded in death by his parents, Albert and Sarah Margaret Reed and his brother, Derrick Lewis.

Prince Albert leaves to cherish his fond and loving memories: his special daughter Lshundra (Terrence) Richardson of San Diego, CA; son, Octavis Dashawn Reed of Mullins SC; two grandchildren: Jasmine Reed of Mullins, SC and Messiah Reed of Lake City, SC; two sisters: Melinda Reed and Carolyn Reed, both of Marion, SC; special brother, Eric Moody; Three brothers: Keith (Tammy) Reed of Hemingway, S.C, Jerome (H.B) Reed and Poette (Kim) Lewis of Marion, SC; a special nurse caregiver, Ms. Bernice Campbell of Mullins, SC; and host of nephews, nieces and friends.
