Today we gather to honor and celebrate the life of Mrs. Anna M. Harris. Anna, a beloved child of God, lived life with a heart full of faith, reflecting Christ’s love in every action. Whether through quiet acts of kindness or steadfast encouragement, Anna reminded us of the power of God’s grace. Anna fought the good fight, finished the race, and kept the faith. We rejoice in knowing Anna is now at peace in the presence of the Lord, and her legacy of faith will continue to inspire us all.
Anna was born March 28, 1948, in Bishopville, SC, a daughter of the late Ike and Christine McCollough. Anna went home to be with the Lord on Friday, November 13, 2025.
Anna was educated at Dennis High School in Bishopville, SC. She had a strong work ethic and maintained several jobs to provide financial support for her family.
At an early age, Anna was a sharecropper. Later in life, she worked at Red Fox Manufacturing and Cal-Maine Foods.
Anna loved the Lord and in her early years, she was a member of Wesley Temple. Later, she transferred her membership to God Deliverance Center I.
Anna found pleasure in enjoying the simple things in life. She enjoyed cooking, watching Western Shows, playing spades and shopping.
