                 From the Sons

For those who did not have the blessing of knowing her, we want to share a glimpse of the remarkable woman we were fortunate to call our mother.

She began her life in Bronx, New York, where her strength, honesty, and resilience were shaped by the city that raised her. As a young mother, she welcomed her first son into the world, and later, after moving to South Carolina, she brought another son into her life completing the family she worked tirelessly to support and protect.

She was a woman who embraced responsibility with quiet strength. As a single mother, she faced challenges that would have weighed heavily on anyone, yet she met each one with determination and grace. She worked for over 42 years at Stanley Tools Inc., showing up every day with unwavering reliability and pride in her work. Even after that long chapter, she continued to give her best, working f ive more years at Lowe’s with the same dedication.

She oversaw and assisted with important matters for family members who counted on her, showing them the same steady support, patience, and compassion she poured into her own family. She was known for speaking her mind, standing firm in her beliefs, and living with a bold honesty that made her unforgettable. She arrived early at appointments, honored her commitments, and carried herself with a sense of responsibility that set an example for everyone around her. You always knew where you stood with her, and that clarity was one of her greatest gifts.

To know her was to witness resilience. To love her was to experience loyalty. And to lose her is to feel the absence of a woman whose life was built on sacrifice, strength, and a fierce devotion to her family.

Even if you never met her, we hope her story helps you understand the depth of the woman we are honoring; A mother, a provider, a caretaker, and a powerful presence whose legacy will live on in the lives she shaped.

She’ll be truly missed by all who knew her. Love you always, Mom!
