“So do not fear, for I am with you; do not be dismayed, for I am your God. I will strengthen you and help you; I will uphold you with my righteous right hand.” Isaiah 41:10
Today, we celebrate the life of Ms. Channelle Denise Davis, a beloved child of God. Channelle was born on April 21, 1987, in Hartsville, South Carolina, to Gloria Davis and the late George Brown. Channelle departed this earthly life and transitioned to her heavenly home on Wednesday, July 15, 2026, at the age of 39. Like a beautiful flower plucked from Earth’s garden, Channelle’s presence will be missed, but her spirit remains vibrant. Though our hearts ache with sorrow, the family find solace in this, that in God’s loving arms, Channelle is now resting in eternal bliss.
Channelle received her education through the Darlington County School District in Hartsville, SC. She was employed at Refuel Convenience Store as a cashier. Channelle’s hobbies included: drawing, reading, listening to music, and handcrafting. Channelle attended the House of Refuge Church. Her faith was her foundation, giving her strength in difficult seasons and joy in the blessings of everyday life.
Throughout Channelle’s life, she was known for her loving heart, gentle spirit, and unwavering devotion to her family. She was a devoted mother, cherished daughter, beloved sister, and loyal friend whose kindness and compassion touched everyone who knew her.
Family was the center of Channelle’s life. She found her greatest joy in being a mother and treasured every moment spent with her children. Her beautiful smile, caring nature, and generous spirit brought comfort and happiness to so many. Though her life was far too short, the love she gave and the memories she created will remain in the hearts of those who loved her forever.
Channelle was preceded in death by: her father, George Brown, and her beloved siblings, Georgia Brown and Derrick Brown.
Channelle leaves to cherish her loving memory: her beloved children: Chamon Mitchell, Gia Brown, and Gionna Brown; precious grandchild, Ni’Lani Lowery; devoted mother, Gloria Davis; loving siblings: Brittany Davis, Darlene Davis, Joyce Russell, Sharon Lunn, Robert (Janet) Brown, Gregory (Annie) Brown, Kim Williams, Jamie Brown, and Richard Brown; and a host of nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, cousins, extended family members, and dear friends who will forever treasure her memory.
Although Channelle’s physical presence is no longer with us, her love, strength, and beautiful spirit will continue to live in the hearts of her family and friends. Her legacy will be carried forward through the lives she has touched and the love she shared so freely.
