Ciron PK Mason

It is with sorrow that we inform you of the passing of Mr. Ciron “PK” Mason.

Mr. Mason passed away on Wednesday, August 26, 2026.

The family will receive friends at: 3121 Judor Court, Darlington, SC.

Arrangements will be announced by Davis Funeral Home, LLC, of Hartsville, SC.

“His lord said unto him, Well done, thou good and faithful servant: thou hast been faithful over a few things, I will make thee ruler over many things: enter thou into the joy of thy Lord”.               Matthew 25:21 

With hearts full of gratitude and love, we celebrate the life of Mr. Ciron “PK” Mason, a devoted servant of God whose faith and steadfast spirit touched all who knew him. Having lived a life marked by kindness, humility, and service, he now hears those blessed words—“Well done, thou good and faithful servant.” His earthly journey was one of purpose and grace, and now he enters into the eternal joy of his Lord. 

Ciron, affectionately called “PK”, was born August 11, 1946, in Lee County to JD and Vicy Lee Mason. On Wednesday, August 26, 2026, he answered God’s call and peacefully made his heavenly transition surrounded by his loving family. 

He received his formal education in the public schools of Lee County and Darlington County. He had a strong work ethic and took great pride in his work. He retired from RBC Bearings after many years of faithful service.

 Ciron “PK” found joy in sharing special moments with his loved ones. A passionate football fan, he proudly rooted for the Dallas Cowboys. 

He was a devoted servant of God and a faithful member of New Hopewell Missionary Baptist Church. His deep faith and love for the spoken word led him to serve actively in his church community, where he was ordained as a Deacon. In this role, he exemplified humility, kindness, and steadfast dedication to God’s work, touching the lives of those around him through service and compassion. 

Ciron was preceded in death by: his wife, Theresa Ann Mason; three loving grandchildren: Cameron, Ky’Nasia and My’Nasia; parents, JD and Vicy Lee Mason; brother, LD Mason; sisters: Ethel Mae (DW) Wilson, Barbara Jean Hawkins, Josielene Brailey, and Sarah Murray; and sister-in-law, Mary Mason.

 Ciron is survived by loved ones who will miss him deeply and will forever honor his memories: sons: Donald (Jeana) Mason, Ronald (Monica) Mason, Carl (Laura) Mason, Devor Ketter, Terrence (Samantha) Mason, and Quinton (Janay) Mason; siblings: Argree Cooks, Dorothy Cooley, Allen Mason, Andrew (Betty) Mason, Ronnie Mason, Julious (Kimberly) Mason, Sandra Mason and Herbert (Mary Ann) Mason; brothers-in-law, Calvin Murray and Charles Hawkins; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and other close relatives and friends. 

Ciron’s “PK” life was a living testimony of faith, service, and love. He walked humbly before God, devoted to his family and steadfast in his calling. Though his earthly journey has ended, his spirit rejoices in the eternal joy of his Lord. His legacy of kindness, devotion, and unwavering faith will continue to shine through all who were touched by his life.
