It is with sorrow that we inform you of the passing of Ms. Cynthia Weller.
Ms. Weller passed away on Monday, March 9, 2026.
Arrangements will be announced by Davis Funeral Home, LLC of Hartsville, SC.

Ms. Cynthia Denise Weller, age 57, of Darlington, South Carolina, departed this life on Monday, March 9, 2026.
Cynthia was born on April 16, 1968, in Hartsville, South Carolina, to Naomi B. Marinelli and the late Peter Almedia Sr.
She received her early education in New Bedford, Massachusetts, and later attended Providence Community College of Rhode Island.
Throughout her professional career, Cynthia worked as a Loan Officer, Financial Advisor, and Branch Manager, assisting many individuals and families with financial guidance and support. In later years, she devoted much of her time to caring for others within her community, showing compassion and kindness to those in need.
Cynthia was affiliated with Mount Beulah Church. She enjoyed dancing, listening to gospel music, singing, cleaning, and spending time with her family. Her joyful spirit and warm personality brought laughter and comfort to many who knew her.
During the final thirty days of her life, Cynthia entered a season of reflection and transition as she courageously faced her diagnosis of cancer. Though further medical care had been scheduled for March 12, Cynthia peacefully transitioned on March 9, 2026. Her family finds comfort in knowing that her final days were surrounded by love and support.
Cynthia was preceded in death by her father, Peter Almedia Sr.; her aunts and uncles Fredrick James Williams, James Williams, and Milton Williams; her grandfather Warley James “Farmer” Williams; and her grandmother Ethel Mae McCoy.
She leaves to cherish her loving memory her mother Naomi B. Marinelli; uncle: Steven Williams; her children Gregory Williams, Taylor Williams, Se’mone Coleman, and Rashia Weller; her grandchildren Malachi Nevers, Roary Se’mone Coleman; her siblings Peter Almedia Jr., Veronica Almedia, Eric Almedia, Sean Almedia, and Steven Almedia; and a host of close relatives and friends.
