It is with sorrow that we inform you of the passing of Mr. Dominque McDaniel.
Mr. McDaniel passed away on Friday, March 27, 2026.
The family will receive friends at: 1364 Heatley Drive, Hartsville, SC.
Arrangements will be announced by Davis Funeral Home, LLC of Hartsville, SC.

Mr. Dominque Jamall McDaniel was born in Darlington County, South Carolina, on July 13, 1988, the son of Deborah Vanessa Arthur and Keith Vinson. He was educated at Stafford University, where he received his diploma.
On August 13, 2019, he was united in marriage to Denise Scott-McDaniel. From this union, five beautiful children were born.
Dominque was employed at Carolina Fresh, Amspak, Holt’s BBQ, and most recently, Pilgrim’s Pride, in Sumter, South Carolina. He took great pride in working, often holding two jobs at a time to provide for his family, a commitment he maintained for many years.
Dominque loved the Lord and attended Mt. Calvary Missionary Baptist Church, where he participated in the youth choir and served on the usher board. He was a kind, loving, and caring soul who enjoyed showcasing his cooking skills on the grill. He cherished spending time with his wife, children, family, and friends. He was also a devoted fan of the Dallas Cowboys and the Oklahoma City Thunder.
He will truly be missed by all who knew and loved him.
Dominque was preceded in death by: his son, Ja’Noah E. McDaniel; stepfather, Kirk Arthur; and grandparents: Johnny and Rosa Mae McDaniel, Betty Vinson, Willie James Sr., and Rosa Bell Murphy.
Those left to cherish his memory and carry on his legacy include: his loving wife, Denise Scott-McDaniel of Darlington, SC; mother, Deborah Vanessa Arthur of Hartsville, SC; father, Keith Vinson of Hartsville, SC; godmother, Regina McDaniel Dolford of Lamar, SC; in-laws, Joseph and Emma Scott of Darlington, SC; children: Jasiah Semaj Scott, Dominque Jamall McDaniel Jr., Aaliyah Dominique McDaniel, and Emily Isabella Scott, all of Darlington, SC; sisters: Brianna Antishia Rhodes and Keyaira Vinson, both of Hartsville, SC; brothers: Stefan Curtis Arthur of Lydia, SC and Quantario Jackson and Keviante Vinson, both of Hartsville, SC; brothers-in-law: Levi Benjamin, Herbert (Pete) Benjamin, Fredrick Dukes, and Joey Benjamin, all of Hartsville, SC; along with a host of aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, nephews, other relatives, and close friends.
