Mr. Grant entered into rest on Thursday March 06, 2025 at McLeod Regional Hospital in Florence, SC

In Loving Memory:
Mr. Gregory Lamorris Grant Sr; affectionately known as “Toboo” was born August 5, 1971, in Darlington, South Carolina. Gregory transitioned from this life Thursday, March 6, 2025, at McLeod Regional Medical Center.
Toboo was a 1991 graduate of St. John High School in Darlington, South Carolina. He also served in the United States Army.
Gregory was currently employed with Schaeffler in Cheraw, SC.
Gregory was preceded in death by his son Gregory Lamorris Grant, Jr and Leory Gattison Sr; who raised him as his own.
Gregory had a love for racing and his favorite pastime was going to the races.
Gregory was born August 5, 1971, to Jack Gattison and Vermella Grant. Gregory was an electrical mechanic. He enjoyed going to races. He was a die-hard San Franciso Forty Niners Fan.
Those left to cherish and hold loving memories of Gregory are his loving daughter Ashley (Trevor) Brisbon of Society Hill; one devoted son Bentlee (Carlie) Hall; of Hartsville SC; his mother Vermella (Michael) Johnson of Society Hill; his father Jack (Gwendolyn) Gattison of Darlington SC; his fiancé Delia Quintero of Washington DC; one loving sister Tara (Lindsey) Grant of Society Hill; two brothers Jamal Grant of Society Hill and Rion (Brandy) Gattison of Darlington SC; two Grandchildren Gregory Grant and Carter Grant-Brisbon of Society Hill; two grandchildren that he raised as his own Jaden and Zariah Jackson of Darlington SC; a special niece Ka’Shira Byrd of Society Hill SC; a special nephew Ka’Shawn Byrd(Jasmine Thomas) of Raleigh NC; a special aunt who raised him as her own Rosa Lee Gattison of Bennetsville SC; a special cousin who was raised as his sister Youlanda (Bobby) Johnson of Bennetsville SC; a special cousin who was raised as his niece Ka’Asia Harrison of Myrtle Beach SC; a special cousin Marcus (LaTonya) Grant of Bennetsville SC; and a host of nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, cousins and other close relatives and friends.
Our beloved Gregory Lamorris Grant’s time among us was brief, yet he will forever live in our hearts.
