Khalif Rameon Bacote

It is with a heavy heart that we announce the passing of Master Khalif Bacote. 

Master Bacote passed away on Wednesday, December 25, 2024, at Prisma Health Hospital in Columbia, SC. 

All services are entrusted to Davis Funeral Home, LLC of Hartsville, SC.

“And God shall wipe away all tears from their eyes; and there shall be no more death, neither sorrow, nor crying, neither shall there be any more pain: for the former things are passed away.”

Master Khalif Rameon Bacote was born on July 08, 2015, at Carolina Pines Regional Medical Center. He was the son of Amanda White and Geraldo Bacote. He was one of four siblings. 

Khalif gained his wings at Prisma Health Children’s Hospital in Columbia, SC. He was a current 4th grade student at North Hartsville Elementary School. He has a twin brother, Kingston Bacote and two sisters, Tahiri Bacote and Shatorika Bacote.

Khalif loved to play with his cars and trucks. He would always tell his mom he would fix her car one day. He also loved to jump on the trampoline and play ball with his sister and brother. He was the jokester of the family. He loved to laugh, play and tell goofy jokes. He was a sweet child that loved to help others. His presence will be missed by many.

Left to cherish his memory are: his loving mother, Amanda White; father, Geraldo Bacote; twin brother, Kingston Bacote; sisters: Tahiri Bacote and Shatorika Bacote; niece, Nature DuBose; grandparents: Calvin Holloman, Ann Hollman, Gary Nelson, Josephine Bacote and Reginald Bacote and Susie Gainey; aunts: Amy Ponds, Gloria Holloman, Erica Bacote and Reba Bacote; godbrothers: Jimil Robinson, Kashten Robinson; and a host of other loving aunts, uncles, cousins, friends, teachers and staff members.
