It is with sorrow that we inform you of the passing of Mr. Lloyd Drummond.


Mr. Drummond passed away on Tuesday, June 16, 2026.


The family will receive friends at: 540 Meadowlark Lane, Hartsville, SC.


Arrangements will be announced by Davis Funeral Home, LLC of Hartsville, SC.

“In my Father’s house are many mansions: if it were not so, I would have told you. I go to prepare a place for you. And if I go and prepare a place for you, I will come again, and receive you unto myself; that where I am, there ye may be also.”     John 14:2-3 

Trustee Lloyd Cedric Drummond was born December 17, 1946, in Baltimore, Maryland to William F. Drummond and Margette Williams. Lloyd peacefully entered his eternal rest on Tuesday, June 16, 2026. Though we grieve his passing, we celebrate a life well-lived and take comfort knowing he is with God, rejoicing in heaven. 

Lloyd graduated from Baltimore Public High School. Professionally, he worked in the culinary arts industry. During his culinary career, he was an Executive Chef at Darlington Country Club, Executive Chef at McLeod Regional Medical Center, and Head Nutritionist at Lee Central High School.

 Lloyd was a member of Jerusalem Baptist Church where he served in the Trustee Ministry and as a member of the Men’s Choir. Lloyd walked in faith and trusted God in all things. 

Lloyd found peace and joy singing with the Sonoco Men’s Club and Men’s Ensemble. His favorite pastime was fishing. Lloyd also enjoyed dancing.

 Lloyd was preceded in death by: his parents, William F. Drummond and Margette Williams; and a brother, Bruce Drummond. 

Lloyd leaves to cherish his memories and carry on his legacy: a devoted and loving wife, Barbara J. Brisbon Drummond; four sons: Eabeiy (Inga) Drummond, Dwayne (Ollie) Brisbon, D’Angelo Brisbon, and Jared (Tisha) Brisbon; daughter, Sharon (Gilbert) Lyons; grandchildren: Jazmin, London, Mia, Ashanti, Benton, Warren, Dakasai, Lacretra, Teeahvah, Dwayne Jr., Jared Jr., and Dyamond Jacobs; siblings: Curtis Drummond, Diana Williams, and Mary Drummond; four great-grandchildren; special brothers and friends, Ivory Joe Williams and Robert Ervin; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other close relatives and friends. 

Trustee Lloyd Cedric “Rick” Drummond will always be remembered with love, gratitude, and the hope of meeting again in God’s eternal peace.
