Lorenzo Isiah Hannibal

It is with heavy hearts that we share the passing of Mr. Lorenzo Hannibal.

Mr. Hannibal transitioned on Friday, May 15, 2026. We ask that you continue to keep his family lifted in prayer during this difficult time.

Funeral services will be held Saturday, May 30 , 2026 at 12 Noon at Davis Funeral Home Chapel Of Hartsville,SC.

“To be absent from the body is to be present with the Lord.”           2 Corinthians 5:8 

Mr. Lorenzo Hannibal was born on April 3, 2001, in Hartsville, South Carolina, to Monique Nickelson. He departed this earthly life on Friday, May 15, 2026, at the age of 25. 

Lorenzo was a proud graduate of Hartsville High School, Class of 2019. He was employed with EFP, LLC (Engineered Foam Packaging Company) in Bishopville, South Carolina. 

Lorenzo enjoyed playing football, watching sports, spending time with family and friends, and creating memories filled with laughter and love. One of his greatest joys was spending time with his special angel. Kaliyah, who always brought happiness to his heart. 

Known for his smile, quiet strength, and loving spirit, Lorenzo had a presence that could light up any room. Though his life was cut short far too soon, the love he shared and the memories he created will forever remain in the hearts of all who knew and loved him. While Earth mourns the loss of a young life, Heaven has gained a beautiful soul.

 Lorenzo was preceded in death by: his grandmothers, Deloris Byrd-Nickelson and Rainey Hannibal; and his grandfather, Paisley Richard Nickelson, Sr. 

He leaves to cherish his precious memories: his devoted and dedicated mother, Monique Nickelson, who lovingly raised Lorenzo and his twin brother as a single mother; twin brother, Levern “Vern” Hannibal; sister, Gieselle Hannibal; baby brother, Dalen Wilson; grandfather, James Hannibal; along with a host of loving aunts, uncles, great-aunts, cousins, relatives, and friends who will forever treasure his life and legacy.
