It is with great sorrow that we inform you of the passing of Mr. Paul Ratliff.
Mr. Ratliff passed away on Friday, June 20, 2025, at MUSC in Orangeburg, SC.
Arrangements will be announced by Davis Funeral Home, LLC of Hartsville, SC.

We are here today to celebrate the remarkable life of Mr. Paul Ratliff Jr. We remember a man who lived his life as a testament to the boundless grace of our Lord.
Paul Ratliff Jr. was born on October 28, 1951, to Willie Mae Ratliff and Paul Ratliff Sr. He departed this earthly life on Friday, June 29, 2025.
Paul graduated from Butler High School, Class of 1970. After completing high school, he enlisted in the United States Army.
Paul met and married Margaret Ann Ratliff.
Paul attended Mt. Calvary Baptist Church in his earlier years. Later he attended Household Of Faith and Mt. Tema Baptist Church.
Paul enjoyed watching CNN. He also found joy in helping people when they needed a helping hand. He found pleasure in selling ”junk”. Paul enjoyed the simple things in life, like drinking an ice-cold Pepsi cola.
Paul was preceded in death by: his parents, Paul and Willie Mae Ratliff, Sr., Chris McCoy, Rondell Ratliff, and Creighvion Benjamin.
Surviving to cherish Paul’s fondest memories are: his loving and devoted wife, Margaret Ann Ratliff; children: Marie Ratliff, Shenka Ratliff, Kim Ratliff, Danelle Mearse, and Joseph Brunson and Sheneka Davis; God-daughter, Sandra Hickson; siblings: Ernest Ratliff, Harry Ratliff, Ronald Ratliff, Helen T. Williams, Naomi Bevel, Sally Brown, and Sarah Jeffery; and a host of grandchildren, nieces, nephews, other close relatives and friends.
