Yea, though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil: for thou art with me; thy rod and thy staff they comfort me. Psalm 23:4
Pauline Mildred Campbell, 81, of Hartsville, South Carolina, transitioned to her heavenly home on May 3, 2024, at McLeod Hospital in Florence, SC.
Born on July 3, 1942, she was the loving daughter of the late Willie Dallas and Laura Holloman Peterson. Pauline attended and graduated from the Darlington County school system and was a dedicated Nurse’s Aide for many years until her retirement.
Pauline was united in holy matrimony to the late Willie Campbell. From this union, they were blessed with three children: Charles, Ron, and Lalita Campbell.
Through the years, Pauline was widely known as a great conversationalist who never let a day go by without reaching out to her friends and family for good conversation and laughter. She was a consummate gardener, excellent cook, and above all, had a deep, foundational love for God. She served proudly as a member of Mt. Calvary Missionary Baptist Church and Mt. Rona #233 Order of The Eastern Star.
She was preceded in death by: her husband, Wille Campbell; parents Willie and Laura Holloman Peterson; brothers: Roy McLaughlin, Franklin Peterson; sisters-in-law: Martha Peterson, Nellie Peterson, and Catherine Peterson and brother-in-law, David Bacote.
