It is with great sorrow that we inform you of the passing of Mr. Raheem Cooley.
Mr. Cooley of Columbia passed away on Monday, December 29, 2025 at Prisma Health Richland in Columbia, SC.
Arrangements will be announced by Davis Funeral Home, LLC of Hartsville, SC.

Today we celebrate the life of Raheem Cooley. Raheem was born on August 14, 1993, to Elizabeth Cooley and Lewis Dixon in Bishopville, SC. Raheem departed this earthly life on Monday, December 29, 2025, at Prisma Health Richland Hospital in Columbia, SC.
Raheem graduated from Lee Central High School. He was a member of First Baptist Church in Bishopville SC. In his pastime, Raheem enjoyed singing, being around family and making people laugh.
Raheem was loving, strong-willed, and courageous. Through adversity, hardships, and moments of struggle, Raheem continued to rise guided by inner strength, determination, and an unshakable spirit. Although life was marked by trials and tribulations, that would have broken many but never broke him.
Raheem carried himself with determination and resilience and faced life head-on, never backing down from what stood in front of him.
Raheem’s journey was one of endurance and growth. His legacy is a testament to the power of perseverance. Though he has departed this life, the story of his strength, courage and will to survive will continue to live through all who knew and loved him.
Now, Raheem rests beyond the reach of struggle, free from the weight he carried so bravely. Though he has laid down his earthly burdens, his journey does not end here. His strength lives on in memory. His courage echoes in the lives he touched, and his legacy remains forever.
Raheem was preceded in death by his mother, Elizabeth Cooley and father, Lewis Dixon.
Loved ones left to cherish Raheem’s memories and carry on his legacy are: his siblings: Trey Cooley, Levis Lavar Dixon, and Latangela Atkinson; two nieces; aunts, uncles and a host of cousins and other close relatives and friends.
RAHEEM... A true testament to endurance, perseverance and an unbreakable soul! He will be truly missed!
