In peace I will lie down and sleep, for you alone, LORD, make me dwell in safety.        Psalms 4:8

Revly Luke, affectionately known as “Sauce,” was born on November 22, 1954, in Mason Hall, Tobago, to Robert Luke and Merilda Edwards.

Revly received his early education at Mason Hall Government School, in Mason Hall and secondary education at Harmon School of S.D.A. in Scarborough, where he formed lifelong friendships and values rooted in faith and community. He later embraced his spiritual walk and was baptized in the Church of God Seventh Day, a commitment that guided him throughout his life.

As a young man, Revly loved playing soccer and proudly represented his community as part of a local team. He developed strong hands-on skills, mastering both the autobody and mechanic trades in Tobago—talents that shaped his career for decades.

In Tobago, Revly married Daphne Woods, the love of his life. In the late 1980s, he journeyed to the United States with Daphne and their children: Robert (Devin), Camilla, and Tamara. Later, they welcomed Rhovelle, completing their circle. Revly endured profound heartbreak with the tragic passing of Daphne to cancer in 1993, a loss he carried with quiet courage.

Revly later relocated to Sumter, South Carolina, where he continued working in the automotive industry, earning respect for his skill, and dedication. In Sumter, he found new joys— developing a deep passion for fishing and hunting.

Revly is lovingly remembered by: his children: Devin, Camilla, Tamara, and Rhovelle; brothers: Granville, John, and Uriel; sisters: Andra, Alice, Venesta, and Deloris; and grandchildren who he cherished: Natalia, Remington, Lucas, and Zachary.

Revly will be remembered for his strong spirit, craftsmanship, kindness, and wit.
