It is with sorrow that we inform you of the passing of Mr. Tommy Lee Holbrook.

Mr. Holbrook passed away on Friday, May 8, 2026, in Dover, DE.

Arrangements will be announced by Davis Funeral Home, LLC of Hartsville, SC.

Mr. Tommy Holbrook was born on March 20,1947, in Franklin County, Toccoa, Georgia. The son of the late Mrs. Blanche L. Keys Holbrook and Tom Holbrook.

He was a member of New Foundation Missionary Baptist Church in Easley, South Carolina.

Mr. Holbrook began his lifetime of work as a Chef at the Metropolitan Club in Manhattan, New York for 28 years.

Tommy was a dedicated Mason and Eastern Star for many years. He was a Brother of Light Lodge #25.

Tommy L. Holbrook departed this life on Friday, May 8,2026, at his home 196 Forty Nie Pines Drive in Dover, Delaware.

He was preceded in death by his mother, Blanche L. Keys and father, Tom Holbrook; 3 sisters, 5 brothers; Louise Johnson, Ruth Jamerson, Dorothy Rhome, Walter Holbrook, Jimmy Holbrook Sr., Roy Holbrook, Luther Holbrook.

He leaves to cherish his memories, one daughter; Pearl Cooper of Dover, Delaware and son-in-law; Howard Cooper, two grandchildren; Shyquasha McPhail of Brooklyn, New York and Shyqan McPhail of Dover, Delaware, his lady; Shirley Palmer of 20 years, two bonus daughters; Andrea Williams (Micheal) of Brooklyn, New York, Azalee McPhail (Dan) of Hartsville, South Carolina, three bonus sons; Harvey Sanders (Kayon) of Mount Veron, New York, Rodney Sanders (Surrett) of Brooklyn, New York, Louis Sanders (Shameek) of Bayonne, New Jersey, two brothers; Roscoe Holbrook (Lillie Mae) of Amityville, New York, and Alvin Davis of Easley, South Carolina, great grandson; Koa McPhail, and a host of bonus grandchildren, nieces and nephews, and other family members and friends.
