Wilhemeina S. Hart

It is with great sorrow that we inform you of the passing of Ms. Wilhelmina S. Hart.

Ms. Hart passed away on Wednesday, October 15, 2025, in Far Rockaway, New York.

Arrangements will be announced by Davis Funeral Home, LLC of Hartsville, SC.

Wilhemeina Hart, was born October 20, 1936 in Darlington County to the late Jonathan Hart. 88yrs of life, she quietly entered into the loving arms of God on Wednesday, Oct 15th 2025.

At an early age Wilhemeina accepted Jesus Christ as her Lord and Savior. Wilhemeina was a member of Macedonia Baptist Church in Far Rockaway N.Y.

Wilhemeina (aka) Fro was a one of a kind woman and had a smile that could lighten up the world. Always willing to help and encouraging others. Her passion was her family, and attending the senior citizen center.

Wilhemeina loved to talk with her one and only son Willie, with whom she loved dearly and had a very unique bond with. Their bond was so unbreakable they spoke in code, that only they could understand. Their talks, laugh and memories will forever be cherished within.

Wilhemeina preceded in death her Mother and Father, 5 sisters and 2 brothers.

Wilhemeina leaves to cherish her fond memories of her only son Willie Smith Sr and Elizabeth Smith (Daughter and Law)

6 Grandchildren Willie Smith Jr, Mary Smith, Travis Smith, Wilhemenia Smith, Melissa Smith and Verna Elam. 40 Great-grandchildren, 2 Great-great grandchildren. Best friend Charlie Mae, Special Niece Patricia Zimmerman and also her little helper Ma-Ma
